Representatives from Chonnam National University, South Korea, visited our hospital

On August 30th, a delegation from Chonnam National University, South Korea, including Lee Myonggyu, Director of the Office of Academic Affairs, Kim Jaeyun, Director of the Planning and Coordination Office, and KOOK Minsuk, Director of the International Affairs Office, visited our hospital. They were accompanied by Lin Geyin, Deputy Director of the the International Affairs Office, and Jiang Pengfei, Vice Dean of the School of Basic Medical Sciences. Chen Zimiao, Vice Dean of our hospital, as well as representatives from the Cooperation and & Communication Department and the Education Department, attended the meeting.

Chen Zimiao introduced the development overview, discipline construction and talent cultivation of our hospital. Lee Myonggyu presented an overview of Chonnam University Hospital and Chonnam University Hwasun Hospital. Both sides discussed topics such as joint training of biomedical researchers and collaboration between hospitals and scientific research.

Through this exchange, both parties discussed in depth the joint training program for Ph.D. candidates between China and South Korea. Both parties will leverage their respective resource advantages to jointly cultivate more international medical talents and promote further exchanges and cooperation in medical higher education.
