Key Laboratory for Accurate Diagnosis and Treatment of Chronic Liver Diseases of Zhejiang Province was established in 2019 on the basis of the Institute of Liver Diseases of Wenzhou Medical University, and approved by the Department of Science and Technology of Zhejiang Province under strict review. Our laboratory focuses on three major research areas, including: i. the early precise warning, diagnosis and treatment of chronic liver diseases, ii. precise intervention of stem cell transplantation in chronic liver diseases, and iii. precise regulation of intestinal microecology in severe chronic liver diseases. In recent years, we have undertaken more than 10 national scientific research projects, including the "12th Five-Year Plan" and "13th Five-Year Plan" major science and technology projects, the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation, with a total research expenditure of more than 10 million yuan. We have won one first prize and two second prizes of Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, two third prizes of Chinese Medical Award, one first prize of Science and Technology Award of Chinese Research Hospital Association, and seven national invention patents. We have published nearly three hundred papers, including 102 SCI-indexed papers and more than 100 papers in Chinese series journals. The laboratory is working hard to move toward a national key laboratory.
