Hematology

The department of hematology was established in the early 1960s. After unremitting efforts of several generations, it has now become the large-scale center for diagnosis and treatment of hematology disease in South of Zhejiang and Northeast of Fujian. There are 3 general wards (including Gongyuanlu Site) and 1 laminar flow ward with total 145 beds. The annual number of outpatient exceeds 60,000, and nearly 6,000 patients are discharged from our department. Over 100 patients received transplants each year. The number of haploidentical transplantation cases ranks 2nd in Zhejiang Province, and the utilization rate of the Chinese bone marrow bank ranks 4th in China in 2019.

Department of Hematology focuses on hematological malignancies treatment, including targeted therapy, immunochemotherapy & immune cell therapy, and stem cell transplantation. Register clinical trials of CD19-CAR-T and BCMA-CAR-T for treatment were performed nearly 100 cases. The remission rate and long-term disease-free survival rate have reached the advanced ranks in China.
