Reproductive Medicine

Reproductive medicine center is one of the first five medical institutions approved to implement human assisted reproductive technology in China. It is also the first reproductive medicine center certified by ISO in Zhejiang Province. The center covers an area of more than 4000 square meters, with more than 800 square meters of embryo laboratories and operating rooms with state-of-the-art equipment. At present, the center provides infertility service to more than 120000 outpatients and performs more than 8000 IVF fresh cycles and frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycles every year. The clinical pregnancy rate per embryo transfer cycle is more than 55%, which is at the advanced level in China.

Since its establishment, the center has won a number of scientific achievement awards. The center owns national and provincial scientific research projects, which focuses on the frontier fields of reproductive medicine, such as cryopreservation and in vitro development of human ovarian tissue, genetic regulation of egg and embryo development, preimplantation genetic diagnosis, sperm DNA damage and related mechanisms of polycystic ovary syndrome.
