The Representatives of SMC visited FAHWMU

On the morning of February 3^rd, Professor Debbie, the representative of Servicios Medicos Cubanos Servicuba S.A.(SMC), visited our hospital. The reception meeting was hosted by Shen Xian, the Party committee secretary of the First School of Medicine (School of Information and Engineering), and of FAHWMU. Wang Meihao, Vice President and the directors of the Office of Cooperation and Communication as well as the Department of Disciplines, Science& Technology also attended the meeting.

Shen Xian led the meeting and started with delivering a speech and extending a warm welcome to professor Debbie, the representative of SMC, and her team. The overview of the hospital, discipline construction, talent cultivationand cultural construction were introduced in detail by Wang Meihao to the foreign side. Professor Debbie introduced the history of SMC and the international medical services they provide.

The foreign side visited the history museum and laboratory of our hospital after the meeting. Professor Debbie greatly appreciated the achievements of the hospital in terms of the medical services, discipline system, and scientific research achievements. Both sides hope that the cooperation with the medical services will be expanded through thisvisiting and exchange. In future, more collaborative endeavors will be created between China and Cuba, and these will helpboth to share the development opportunities and achieve mutual benefits.
