Wherever there is a need, there are staff from FAHWMU (the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University)! Since April 1st, according to the unified deployment of Health Commission of Zhejiang Province and Wenzhou, the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University has dispatched 4 batches of medical teams with a total of 145 staff to assist Shanghai, Jiaxing and Cangnan to fight against the pandemic. Among them, there are 54 medical staff in 2 batches of medical teams supporting Shanghai. They are responsible for leading the establishment of the fifth medical team in the Shanghai Fangcang shelter hospital of Zhejiang Province. They are mainly responsible for the medical treatment of Fangcang shelter hospitals and participate in the hemodialysis work of the three major hemodialysis centers.
On behalf of the hospital, Shen Xian, Secretary of the Party Committee of the hospital, extended high respect and heartfelt thanks to the team members. Fangcang hospital medical team
On March 30th, under notification from Health Commission of Zhejiang Province, FAHWMU, as the leading unit, quickly established the Zhejiang Province Fifth Aid Shanghai Fangcang shelter hospital medical team that night. Wu Gaojun, vice president of our hospital, was the leader of the medical team, which includes 151 medical staff from FAHWMU, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University, Zhejiang Cancer Hospital and the Zhoushan Medical Team. Among them, our hospital sent a total of 52 staff, including administrative staff from medical affairs, nursing, Hospital Infection Control, clinicians, and nursing staff.
At noon on April 3rd, the medical team set off for Shanghai. That night, Wu Gaojun held the first working meeting and established a temporary party branch (a total of 79 party members, including 32 in our hospital), giving full play to the role of the party members as a vanguard and model and the party branch as a fighting fortress, flagging of the Party in pandemic battle. The "pandemic" position is flying high.
On the second day of the aid to Shanghai, the medical and nursing team of our hospital, as the core backbone, led the support team to work quickly in an orderly manner, went to the Fangcang shelter hospital to go through the scene and familiarize the process, collected the distribution of materials, repeated training and assessment of protective equipment wearing and taking off and ensured all staff passed, carry out hospital infection protection and wearing and taking off protective clothing training for hotel staff to ensure "zero infection" and be perfectly safe.
On the evening of April 1st, we set off for emergency support for hemodialysis work.
On the evening of April 1, two hemodialysis nurses rushed to Hangzhou overnight. After strict assessment, they entered Shanghai the next afternoon to participate in the hemodialysis team of Zhejiang Province to assist Shanghai and support the hemodialysis rooms of three hospitals in Shanghai.
In Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University in Shanghai, the hemodialysis team is divided into two shifts, morning and evening, among which our hospital nurses participate in the evening shift. They quickly became familiar with the operating procedures of the machine, and they worked non-stop until 24:00 in the morning, without eating or drinking for more than ten consecutive hours to ensure high-quality completion of the task.
On the afternoon of April 3rd, we set off on the expedition and devoted all our efforts to nucleic acid testing.
In order to effectively curb the spread of the epidemic, Haining organized a large-scale nucleic acid screening for all employees in the city on April 5. On the afternoon of April 3, our hospital urgently dispatched a nucleic acid testing team consisting of 20 inspection professionals to go to Jiaxing to participate in the nucleic acid sample testing in Haining.
The team of nucleic acid testing arrived at the designated hotel at 21:00. Without a rest, the team held the first group meeting immediately to know the working mode and instruments and equipment at the base and assign team members to various posts. All team members were officially incorporated into the base team on April 4th and finished testing tasks with quality and quantity on their own posts every second and minute.
In the early morning of April 5, We went to Lingxi, Cangnan, to participate in nucleic acid sampling.
At 5:00 a.m. on April 5, our hospital once again dispatched a nucleic acid sampling team composed of 71 nursing staff to help Lingxi, Cangnan.
